Silent Auction and Golden Seal Cookie Fundraiser
Its almost time for our online auction....
Camp Fancy has been our largest fundraiser each year and we have had to postpone the event indefinitely due to COVID-related restrictions and the concern for the health and well being of our staff and guests. Instead of hosting an in-person event, we have decided to host our second annual online auction at the end of November. This will be an excellent opportunity to bid on items, services and experiences (including some unique getaway opportunities at Fircom) that will make great Christmas and Birthday gifts for your friends and family!
You will be able to access our online auction from our Website, Instagram and Facebook page on Friday, November 26th!
The Auction will be live November 26th at 10:00am and will close at 4:00pm on Saturday, December 4th.
Golden seal Cookie Fundraiser
Our 'Golden Seal' Cookie Fundraiser begins... NOW!!!
We are excited to offer our Fircom community the opportunity to purchase a box (or two or three!) of cookies made with love in our Fircom kitchen! Each box is $25.00 and we have four delicious options to choose from:
Gingersnap Cookie (6 cookies per box): Gingersnap cookies are delicious anytime of year, but the holiday season isn't complete without the notes of Christmas cheer with ginger, cloves and cinnamon! Enjoy these crispy and chewy treats topped with some candied ginger and coarse sugar.

Camp Classic Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie (6 cookies per box): With each bite you'll experience something delicious, from coconut to craisins, to oat-y chocolate chip goodness. A classic to enjoy with your choice of milk!

Double Chocolate Peppermint Cookie (6 cookies per box): Chewy, oh so chocolatey, and coated with peppermint candy canes, these double chocolate cookies take decadence to the next level using Callebaut chocolate and cage free eggs -- holiday bliss in every bite!

Festive Sugar Cookie (8 cookies per box): Melt in your mouth with a nice crumb, these are tempting little sugar cookies all done up with sprinkles and icing or dipped in chocolate. These little gems are full of sugar, full of butter... what more can be said... NUM NUM NUM ....

All proceeds will go directly to our Campership Fund, which is a fund that provides subsidies for children, youth and families who otherwise would not be able to afford to participate in our Summer Camp programs, Retreats, and Family Vacation sessions.
One lucky customer will discover a 'Golden Seal' card in their cookie box and will win a Family Fun Weekend at Fircom! The Family Fun Weekend provides a family (up to 5 people) with a weekend stay in our Farmhouse accommodation. Upon arrival on Friday afternoon, our prize-winning family will be welcomed with a βsnack packβ filled with treats and bags of popcorn that can be enjoyed while watching a movie together using our projector. On Saturday, a guided Tie Dye session with complimentary white Camp Fircom t-shirts will be provided for the whole family! In the evening, a homemade pizza (customized with choice of toppings), salad and dessert, as well as a bottle of wine for the adults and a bottle of sparkling juice for the kids, will be delivered to the Farmhouse. Weather permitting, Sunday morning will finish the weekend with a canoe paddle around Halkett Bay. Linens (bedding and towels) and water taxi transportation are also included in the prize package. Meal service (with the exception of Saturday night's pizza dinner) is not included. This weekend can be booked between October and March, and is valid through March 2023.
Cookie orders will be accepted until Monday, December 6th at 4:00pm. Cookie orders will be available for pick-up at Highlands United Church gymnasium (3255 Edgemont Blvd., North Vancouver -- enter the gymnasium through the doors in the back parking lot) on Saturday, December 11th between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. If the pick-up date, time and location are challenging for you, please email Terra (terra@fircom.ca) and we can attempt to make an alternative arrangement.
