One of the easiest ways to give is an individual or monthly donation to Camp Fircom through Canada Helps. This website is a wonderful, reputable organization that processes secure donations for non-profits and charities and provide donors with the necessary tax receipts.
Cheques can also be mailed to Camp Fircom Society, PO Box 94027, 6655 Royal Avenue, West Vancouver, BC V7W 2B8. Please make cheques payable to Camp Fircom Society. All cheques over $20 will be recognized with an official charitable tax receipt.

Securities & Mutual Funds
The Federal Government has eliminated the capital gains income tax inclusion on gifts of appreciated securities! Camp Fircom is able to receive donations of securities and mutual funds through CanadaHelps.

Endowment
Since 1998, the Camp Fircom Endowment Fund has provided us with a steady income that enables us to advance our mission over the long-term. Contributions into the Fircom Endowment Fund will be held in trust forever. The annual interest generated will help Camp Fircom operate year after year. Camp Fircom’s Endowment Fund is managed by the Vancouver Foundation.

Bequests

Camperships
The campership fund helps subsidize camp costs to children, youth, and families who cannot otherwise afford to attend camp. We mostly serve people from the Greater Vancouver regional district and believe it is our duty to understand and respond to the financial realities of the families we serve. As this area becomes more expensive for housing, we have increased our amounts for camperships knowing many families have very little disposable income.
Coming to camp and getting a break from the daily grind of city living allows kids and youth a true summer vacation. This chance for rest and relaxation amid the amazing natural surroundings of Gambier allows for spiritual growth, personal growth, and just plain old fun.
Through this donor program, you can give someone the gift of summer memories that last a lifetime.
A Campership Story: Sometimes one family’s story says it all.
Reena and her two daughters attended the Circle of Love Single Mom & Kids Retreat in February, 2026. Belonging is not something many single mothers experience easily. The weight of responsibility can be constant and unseen, as well as the financial weight. After returning home, she wrote:
“The days my girls and I spent at Camp Fircom were magical. I made new best friends. I cried hearing their stories, and they cried hearing mine. The Land is magical. I felt I truly belonged.
“They gave us something we didn’t even know we needed: time to slow down, rest, breathe, and just be together. The land, the ocean, the trees, the rhythm of the days, all of it felt incredibly grounding and nourishing.”
Reena also expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Fircom subsidy that made it possible for her family to attend. Being able to say yes without financial stress meant everything to her.
“This allowed us to say yes without stress, and I don’t take that lightly at all. I am so, so grateful.”

Another Campership Story
“Going to Camp Fircom is the highlight of our year for my daughter and I. We have been a single parent family since the day my daughter was born. Being at Camp Fircom is hands down the best holiday we have ever had together.
It is the first time I ever spent time with my daughter without having to multi-task or plan ahead. Having all the food and activities taken care of, allows us to fully enjoy, ourselves, each other and the other families.
The amount of care the staff and volunteers provide combined with the thoughtful programming and individual attention allows us to sink into a complete relaxation and joy just burbles forth.
That one week at Mom & Kids camp gives me the energy to propel us forward the rest of the year. It also inspires me to create more of a sense of community in our lives. After Mom & Kids camp is over, my daughter asks every week when we can go back to camp - she does this non-stop until the next summer.
I am so grateful to Camp Fircom Mom & Kids camp - it literally has transformed my relationship with my daughter and there is nothing more precious than that!”
