Fircom is open year-round and every season has its own magic! And if remote working is necessary, all of our accommodations provide access to reliable wifi.
Take a fresh morning walk in the forest, watching nature as it wakes up for the season. Enjoying a morning coffee or an evening hot chocolate (or cocktail, beer or glass of wine!) snuggled up by the fire in one of our winterized accommodations is a cozy, relaxing way to start and end your day. Get comfy and read or play board games in your accommodation … or venture out for a peaceful walk up to our Gazebo, or the hike to Halkett! There is nothing better than enjoying a late afternoon/early evening fire at Campfire Rock as the sun is setting, casting a beautiful pink and gold hue over the inky black snow-covered mountains.
We have accommodation options suitable for varying group sizes and budgets. All of our winterized accommodations have living and dining areas, fully-equipped kitchens, and washroom facilities.
Food service is available upon request for groups of 10 or more people.
Accommodation Options:
Farmhouse:
A private accommodation rental suitable for up to 5 people, the Farmhouse has two bedrooms with queen size beds, and a pull-out sofa in the living area. Fitted sheets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own top sheet, pillow cases, sleeping bags and/or blankets!
Cottage:
A private accommodation rental suitable for up to 12 people, the Cottage has one room with a queen size bed, and five bedrooms with two twin size beds each. Fitted sheets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own top sheet, pillow cases, sleeping bags and/or blankets!
Craigcroft:
For larger groups, Craigcroft can be rented in its entirety (twelve bedrooms that sleep a maximum of 35 people), or just the lower floor (six bedrooms that sleep a maximum of 17 people).
This includes use of the living and dining areas, kitchen, and washroom facilities. Each bedroom is suitable for up to three people, with a twin size bunk bed and a twin size bed. Exception: one room on the main floor has two single beds. Fitted sheets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own fitted sheet, pillows and sleeping bags and/or blankets!
Transportation
Throughout the late fall and winter months, Mercury Transport has scheduled runs available on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. As of Spring 2026, the cost between Horseshoe Bay and Camp Fircom has an added fuel charge, and rates are averaging about $90.00 per person for a return trip. Please follow this link for more information and to make a booking. For current pricing, it’s always best to check the website.
Cormorant Marine also offers schduled runs, although less so in the winter months. However, they often have water taxis on the water that our guests can hop on. Please follow this link for contact information.
Cancellation & Refunds
If a booking is cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival, a $100.00 cancellation fee will be withheld and all other fees paid will be refunded.
If a booking is cancelled within the 14 day period prior to arrival, but more than 48 hours prior to arrival, 50% of fees paid will be refunded.
If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival, no refund will be given.
