TESTIMONIALS
“Our SFU group chose Camp Fircom for its relaxed and laid-back vibe. It is the perfect low stress environment for our students to share their final projects and portfolios. We return every year as the course sits in the centre of Átl’ka7tsem /Howe Sound which is the focus and theme of our Environmental Education course. Even the boat ride to and from the Camp creates a course highlight that students remember long after their course experiences are over.”

“Staff was incredibly prompt in answering requests, and amazingly, the 13-16 year olds loved all the food! (we know the food is great, but to have this age group agree speaks volumes!)”
- Lisa Munro - UCC Camp Spirit Training
“Coming to Fircom for our staff retreat was a great way to step out of our daily grind, without completely upending our lives. The camp is so close to the city so people with commitments at home don’t have to be away for too long. But at the same time feels far enough away for some forced together time, which was sort of the point! The quick access to forest trails and beaches was perfect for taking breaks and getting some fresh air in between sessions. The natural setting of Fircom is also very calming and conducive to reflective thought, which is very helpful when you are having long-term strategic conversations. We had the chance to take a step back and have some big conversations that are just not possible in our day-to-day operations.”
– Jeannette Ageson, The Tyee
"I am so thankful I took the opportunity to take a core group of staff to Camp Fircom for a three day workshop as it provided the perfect location for staff to interact on a more personal level while providing a great location for productive working sessions. The food was excellent while the afternoon voyageur canoe trip to Halkett Bay provided a great opportunity for the team bonding. Staff were very curious to know how I found out about Fircom as I believe it surpassed their expectations in so many ways."
