WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Friday: Connection - Laughter - Joy!
Arrive on Friday afternoon and take a moment to settle into your accommodation. Allow yourself to unwind with a refreshing swim, basking in the warmth of the sunshine. Then, put on your fave camp clothes and gather on the sunny Cottage deck to reconnect with fellow Fircom moms. Delight in appetizers and beverages followed by a BBQ dinner around the dining table. Cheers! Get your favourite playlists ready!
After dinner, immerse yourself in the beauty of your surroundings with a leisurely stroll around the property to rekindle fond memories of days gone by. To end the evening, circle up under the moon and stars for camp songs and storytelling at Campfire Rock.
Saturday: unwind In the Great Outdoors!
Start your day with an activity of your choice! Perhaps a refreshing ocean swim, a morning wander to the Gazebo to enjoy the fragrance and music of the forest, or maybe a cozy sleep-in. A hearty breakfast will be waiting in the dining hall—and with Alumni Moms, there’s always plenty of joyful chit-chat around the dining table!
You’ll then have the option to join a morning hike The Bluffs or simply relax around camp.
After a tasty lunch in the dining hall, you can choose from a couple of optional afternoon activities (to be confirmed with 2026 registrants):
Activity #1: Tie Dye Extravaganza!
T-shirt, skirt, beach wrap, pillow case, socks, hat—whatever you’ve brought to tie-dye, now’s your chance to create something groovy with all the vibrant colours!
Activity #2: Archery
Because we know you still love it!
Spend the rest of the afternoon however you wish: dock jumping - relaxing with other moms on the beach or enjoying quiet time in the peaceful forest with a friend or two.
Dinner in the dining hall, followed by dessert on the dock—a cherished Fircom M&K Camp tradition! We’ll also share some inspirational circle time together.
Before bed, nurture your body and quiet your mind with some yin yoga and/or a relaxing guided meditation with Neerava.
Sunday: Forest Meditation, Paddling and Garden Time!
Begin your day grounded and refreshed with a peaceful forest meditation, feet on the grass, breathing in the gift of nature. After breakfast, join Terra for a lovely paddle in Halkett Bay, soaking up the sunshine and the laughter with friends. Lunch will be followed by some unhurried time to relax, chat and enjoy the moments.
In the afternoon, you’ll spend some time in the garden, gathering fresh ingredients for your final programming block: Farm to Fork (TBC). Together, you’ll create something delicious, straight from the earth to your plate.
Before boarding the water taxi back to the mainland, we’ll gather for our traditional closing circle—a time to reflect, share, and carry home the sweetness of new memories made at Fircom.
The water taxi will depart around 4:00 or 4:30pm.
The whole weekend will move at a “go-with-the-flow” pace—just as it should.

WHAT TO EXPECT
getting to/from camp
Arrival & Departure:
We are sure you remember the drill! Meet your group of alumni moms at end of the dock near the white shed with the red roof.
Your water taxi will depart Horseshoe Bay on Friday, August 7, 2026 at approximately 4:30pm (TBC) and return from Fircom on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 at approximately 5:00pm (TBC).
Parking:
We highly recommend taking public transit or being dropped off in Horseshoe Bay (or carpool!) to avoid the hassle of finding parking. If you need to park, the following lots are available:
Lions Tiddlycove Parking ($10/day, cash only): This parking lot is a 20 min walk from the Horseshoe Bay Public Dock up under the highway. NOTE: The lot size has been significantly reduced since May 2024, due to falling debris from the overpass above. We will post an update if the lot opens before summer 2026.
BC Ferries Parking ($20-$25/day): These short-term and long-term parking lots are centrally located in Horseshoe Bay village but can quickly fill up on weekends.
