2024 Registration!
It’s time!
On Saturday, November 18, 10:00am registration opens for all our 2023 Attendees.
(On Saturday, November 25th, 10:00am Registration Opens for the General Public)
and we have BIG NEWS!
This week we launched our NEW REGISTRATION SYSTEM with SmartRec / Amilia. This means registration will now look COMPLETELY different when you register for any Fircom Camps or Retreats.
Here is some information that will help you navigate your way.
For our 2023 Attendees: We have added “ADULT 1” name and contact information from all our 2023 households to our new Amilia account. All 2023 households were sent an invoice for a free membership, which allows them to register as ‘existing clients’ in our new system, before the general public begins to register on Saturday, November 25th at 10am.

Here are a few helpful links if you did not attend any 2023 programs, and need to set up an account: SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT (We created your account if you and/or your child attended this year). There is a good chance that families may have used Amilia for classes or lessons in the past, so things might look familiar to you.

TO MAKE THINGS EASIER…
Once you are logged into your account, you can add members of your household that will be registering. As the account owner, you can begin to fill in the adult form so that when the ‘bell rings’ at 10 am, your registration will be easier! Open each tab to view the fields that need to be filled/questions answered. If you, as the parent/guardian are not attending a program with your child, then we only need your contact information. Once your are registering your child, their form will appear. Please have family doctor/clinic name and phone number handy, along with care card number for all applicants.
SUBSIDY APPLICANTS…
The account owner can complete their Adult Form including all the subsidy questions listed under "Extra Questions" prior to registration. These questions only need to be answered on ONE form (not for each family member). Each family member applying for subsidy and registering for camp will need to pay $25/person at checkout. To do this, either choose the Installment Plan, where there is an option to pay $25 by credit card, OR choose 'Offline Payment' and send an e-transfer to info@fircom.ca using the password: Gambier. After your subsidy is calculated and applied next spring, the remainder of your fees will be due April 1st, with a possible final installment on May 1st. BE SURE TO SEND US YOUR 2022 Notice Of Assessment NOW (or proof of 3 months total household income) so we can open your 2024 subsidy file. We process subsidies in order of receiving this. Next spring we will require your 2023 NOA to finalize your potential subsidy, which are offered on a percentage sliding scale, with a maximum of 85%.
