Polaris Adventure is a 6-day, 5-night program, and the exciting next evolution of our foundational Teen Camp program. This co-ed program gives teens the opportunity to take on a more active role in their time at camp. Polaris youth will split their time between taking part in classic camp activities at Fircom and embarking on paddling or hiking out-trips that expand their knowledge of Gambier Island and the Howe Sound, as well as their wilderness and camping know-how.

This third and final week of Polaris Adventure Camp will take place while Improv Camp, an independent camp that rents our site, will be running. 

Because there won’t be a Camp Fircom Program running, this Polaris Adventure will be spending an extra day on their out-trip, and will be able to participate in more challenging hikes and activities. 

This camp is ideal for older teens and campers who have participated in Polaris Adventure already and are ready for a more Adventurous week than before!  Age restriction 15-16 yrs. 

We understand that not having another Fircom program on site will change the experience for some campers, but we will ensure all our campers will still get to experience all the classic Camp Fircom moments, including Campfires and Operation Firefly!
